Location of built-up areas containing Large Town centres

    Description

    Using ArcView the built-up areas containing large town centres were selected and coded with a value, these are displayed as black areas in the map above.

    Comments

    1. Only Paris out of the built-up areas containing extra large town centres also contains a large town centre.
    2. This layer is quite sensitive to the definition of built-up areas and the classification of the urban hierarchy as are the other layers similar to it.
