For Students

This module is a novel approach to fully integrating research and teaching. It offers students a chance to experience the research process
from conceptualisation of ideas and thoughts, through primary data acquisition, to high-quality dissemination and publication in a conference and academic paper format. For this reason there are two pre-requisite modules of study. These are the School of Geography,
University of Leeds G2940 Fundamentals of Geomorphology, and G2500 Geographical Science: Method and the Environment.
You must pass these modules in order to be eligible for the G3012 New Zealand Research Project.

The formal objectives of this module are to enable students to:

Critically evaluate and synthesise physical geography literature.
