In March 2000 Andy started a part time PhD titled: Investigating the Problem of Personal Injury Road Accident Incidence in Great Britain from 1992 using a Geographical Data Mining Approach . In November 2002 after a 6 month deferment and under a slightly modified title: A Geographical Analysis of Personal Injury Road Accident Data in Great Britain since 1992 Andy successfully upgraded. In September 2006 after a further deferment of 2 years and 6 months Andy is to restart his PhD on the following topic: Development of a Contemporary Agent Based Model of the UK for Analysing Regional Development and Inter Regional Communications .
