Research overview

I am currently employed as a post-doc in the Ecology and Global Change cluster. For my research I use models to understand Earth System process such as tropical forest dynamics and nutrient cycling. I am currently working on the NERC-funded TREMOR (Mechanisms and consequences of increasing TREe MORtality in Amazonian rainforests) project. For this I will use a combination of forest plot measurements and an individual trait-based forest model to explore the drivers of the increased tree mortality observed in the Amazon.

I am also interested in nutrient cycling and I have developed a phosphorus and nitrogen model which I am...
