RESEARCH OVERVIEW
Dr Stuart Hodkinson is a British Academy Postdoctoral Research Fellow. His main research focus is on the ‘new urban enclosures’, specifically re-examining the motivations, mechanisms and impacts of housing privatisation and regeneration in Britain. He has a particular interest in the Private Finance Initiative and is also interested in asylum and migration policies, particularly in relation to migrant destitution, detention and deportation.
