      • Using Games to get data marked up.
        • e.g. ESP Games
          • Used for tagging up images.
          • Each player is asked to provide a tag for an image that they think someone else will provide.
          • When tags from 2 players agree, this becomes a valid tag for the image and each player scores a point.

        • As a matter of principal, I won't come to another meeting unless organisers make an effort to provide internet access.
      • Not able to get online to download information about FRBR or CRN or do any work
        • I find this most unsatisfactory!
        • I made this clear in my feedback form to the Methods Network.
        • As a matter of principal, I won't come to another meeting unless organisers make an effort to provide internet access.

        • Security
          • Paul asked Mark about how to safeguard the data in IBHIS
            • The security is role based and sounds well thought out :-)
            • Duncan knows about security and security issues for disaster management...
            • This echoed a lot of what was happening in the GeoDRM and Disaster Management stuff at the OGC TC last week.
        • I asked an open question I'd been preparing for about ebRIM CRN FRBR along the lines of:
          • The OGC are looking at extending the OASIS ebRIM Standard Version 3 for Catalog and registries. Is there something else we should look at? We heard of CRN and FRBR earlier.
            • Allen offered to pass on the question to his catalog experts, o I plan to email him.
          • Preparation
            • electronic business Registry Information Model (ebRIM) features include:
              • user defined classification scheme or taxonomies
              • user defined associations
              • life cycle metadata
              • audit trail
              • (source [1])
            • Looked at OGC 05-025r3 [2]
            • Dowloaded Version 2 of ebRIM spec, but realised I should have had Version 3 [3]
            • Thanks to Kirash I could get online for 10 minutes during the coffee break :)
