    • This web page is a progress report for MoSeS for the period 2006-11-21 to 2007-01-18.

    • During the reporting period the School of Geography Beowulf machine has been set to producing UK dataset using the latest version of the population initialisation model.
    • New results visualisations have been produced for Leeds at OA, MSOA and Ward Level
    • These provided sufficient confidence to justify the contiuation of work on the genetic algorithm approach to searching for a good solution.
    • Although the latest aggregate results visualisation are improved, a number of issues have been identified.
    • Actions from the MoSeS Technical Meeting on 2006-12-20 have begun to be addressed.
    • The development of code for the automated mapping of results has been postponed until my new PC arrives.
    • Progress has been made with documentation of the project and the population initialisation work.
