Welcome to Web-based GIS at the University of Leeds

This course has been designed to cover the basics of web based mapping. The aim of the module is to equip you with the skills to build your own web-based GIS from scratch. We will start with basic web skills including HTML, CSS and Javascript and move onto specific tools for creating and serving web maps, including Google Maps, Leaflet and Geoserver.
