Grants Awarded

  • $7,500 (£5,000) from Amazon to fund high-performance computing services.
  • £70k grant from JISC entitled Exploiting geo-spatial datasets to enhance crime analysis and related research methods. The project was a collaboration between School of Geography in Leeds and the Applied Criminology Centre, Huddersfield. February – November 2011.
  • £2,870 fieldwork grant from the Royal Geographical Society for a project entitled “Developing an Ad- vanced Agent-Based Model for Improving Crime Reduction Policy”. Awarded March 2011.
