Dominant Landuse
Description
There are 20 classes of agricultural landuse for both dominant and secondary landuse. This data input was created simply by converting the polygons into a grid using ArcView.Source data=Soils geographical database of Europe at scale 1:1,000,000 version 3.2
Comments
- The data source has two landuse attributes; dominant landuse and secondary
landuse. First attempts at classifying landuse used only the dominant landuse.
In later models dominant and secondary landuse maybe combined in fuzzy
kind of way or better still probablilities derived from satellite data
can be used.
