"Geography is definitely not just "colouring in." This degree is challenging, enabling your knowledge to be expanded due to the inter-disciplinary modules on offer e.g. ecology, politics, economics, climate change etc. It enables students to acquire a skill set essential for the work place through the different types of assignments and ways of learning: report writing, essays, presentations, group work, lectures, seminars, field trips...You even get an opportunity to take a year out (abroad or "in industry").

I worked for ExxonMobil Ltd. for 13 months within the Convenience Retail Department – it was the best decision I made as it gave me the chance to experience a 9 till 5 job prior to graduation.

I have loved living in Leeds and have met life-long friends through my course."
