Joint Honours degrees

As well as the four single honours geography programmes we offer, we also parent a number of joint honours BA and BSc programmes.

These programmes allow you to study two subjects at degree level, and what a lot of joint honours students particularly like, is that they offer you the flexibility to major more in one subject than the other, which is ideal if you have yet to decide where your particular strengths or interests lie.

As a joint honours student the administration of your programme belongs to just one of the two Schools which provide teaching for your programme, known as your ‘parent’ School, and you will be registered as a student with your parent School. We fully welcome all joint honours students studying geography into our student community and all students will have the same access to our modules and support structures as our single honours students. We also encourage you to join our student society GeogSoc and to take part in our Study Abroad and Year in Industry schemes.

The programmes we offer are listed below, grouped by parent department. Please click through to the course pages for further information, including contact details.
