The University of Leeds is inviting applications for a small number of fully funded Doctoral Scholarships from applicants who can demonstrate academic excellence and research potential. These are open to UK/EU and international applicants for PhD study commencing 1 October 2017. To find out if you are eligible, please read the full eligibility requirements here before applying.
How to apply
1. Submit a PhD application and supporting documents to the School of Geography. A University SID number will be sent to you shortly after you submit this.
2. Submit an online scholarship application for a Leeds Doctoral Scholarship by 10 March 2017. You must have received your University SID number before you are able to complete the scholarship application. It is therefore advisable to submit your PhD application at least a few days before the scholarship deadline.
Please note that Leeds Doctoral Scholarships are extremely competitive and that successful applicants are likely to be in the top 5% of their cohort with a first class undergraduate degree (or equivalent) and ideally a Masters with high merit or distinction. In addition, successful candidates are likely to already have publications and/or prizes.
