INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
The School of Geography welcomes international students, both on full and part-time undergraduate, taught postgraduate and research postgraduate degrees, and those who are taking Study Abroad options from their home institutions.
As one of the largest research-oriented departments in the UK, we value the contribution and diversity our international students make to the School. With just under half of our 60 PhD students coming from outside the UK, the School enjoys a truly international flavour with students being fully integrated into School and university life. Our taught Masters courses also attract many students from overseas who come to Leeds to gain an internationally recognised qualification from a dedicated, world-class team of teaching and research staff.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENT OFFICE
The International Office is here to help you settle in to life in Leeds as quickly as possible. Be part of a lively international community by participating in social activities or joining a student society. You can meet UK and other international students, or stay with a British family for a weekend. Whatever your interest, there is something for you to enjoy in Leeds and the UK.
