GB Profiler is a small area profiling system whose aim is to provide quick easy-to-use access to the small area census classifications designed and constructed at the School of Geography, Leeds University. This hierarchy of Web pages provides a review of the classification research and a guide to installing and using GB Profiler 91.

The GB Profiler interface has been designed and developed using Microsoft's Visual Basic Development Language. This provides tools, such as buttons and check boxes, to build MS Windows applications. It is assumed in these WWW pages that the user has a basic understanding of MS Windows terminology.
