This research entailed:-
- Measurement of Cray Beck confluence morphology
- Analysis of confluence morphology with respect to Cray Beck and main river hydrology, sedimentology and sediment delivery.
- Identification of most probable locations of channel bed instability and possible bank erosion in the main channel in response to proposed engineering works.
- Identification and comment upon remaining uncertainties
- Production of final report
