Summary:

A service will be provided through MIMAS (at Manchester) providing use-support for the 2001 Census interaction data. A user-friendly, web-based data access and analysis system (WICID) will be at the heart of this service, which will allow users to extract subsets of 2001 interaction data that will have been quality tested. The project will also produce and provide access to interaction data from earlier censuses re-estimated for 2001 geographies. The selection, analysis and mapping facilities in WICID will be enhanced and full documentation and user training materials will be developed.
