• A key innovation in the 1991 Census was the publication of public use microdata, a 1% Household SAR and a 2% individual SAR. Using microdata researchers can carry out tailored tabulation or statistical analysis.

Their findings suggest that British society is failing to deliver colour-blind equality of opportunity for the second generation of ethnic minorities.
