Summary
This project took the generic tools developed in an earlier project and applied it to specific
catchments in Yorkshire.
In particular it emphasised the development of risk identification
and risk management tools for the catchment.
Results
The resulting software allows users...
- to retrieve spatial and temporal data for any catchment in Yorkshire
- to display modelled hazard source areas on every catchment for both point and non point
sources for a variety of physical, chemical and microbiological parameters
- to calculate
spillage risks from road networks on catchments
- to both track and estimate the
time of delivery of spillages from any point in the catchment to a water course.
