Summary

This is a project driven by concepts of sustainability.

The object of this work has been firstly to quantify and audit the information available on the sustainability of the city of Leeds, secondly to develop forecasting models for important elements of the city of Leeds environment and thirdly to explore the inter-relations between these models and fourthly to develop a set of indicators by which the benefits of modifying the environment (and informing the future of such management through the forecasting models) can be identified. The indicators in reality are a process for the identification, selection, improvement and acceptance of an indicator suite. This process is called PICABUE.
