Building a Synoptic Prediction System (SPS)
Objective was to build a GIS based computer modelling system able to link changes in climate, physical environment and socio-economics to agricultural land use in the EU in a broad-brush way
It was to function in a manner similar to a long-term weather forecast (i.e. broadly right but vague about the details)
