TEACHING INFORMATION

I convene Tropical Forests: Past, Present and Future (GEOG3030), and teach on the Cevennes field course (GEOG2001), Physical Geography Tutorials with Dissertation Design (GEOG2270) and Environmental Systems Analysis (GEOG2250). I am the BSc Geography dissertation coordinator (GEOG3600) and supervise tutorial and BSc dissertation students.

I am also committed to teaching and outreach work in countries where I undertake research. I have taught several forest carbon cycling and data analysis courses in Peru organised in collaboration with IIAP, WWF-Peru and the Missouri Botanical Garden, some of which were funded as part of an ESPA Capacity Building project. In 2011, I was an invited lecturer on the Tropical Biology Association (TBA) course in Kibale Forest National Park, Uganda.
