RESEARCH OVERVIEW
My research interests bridge social, cultural, political and emotional geographies in an attempt to study the role that emotions play in the formation and lived experience of social, cultural and political identities. More specifically, I am interested in exploring the social and political significance of the relationships between cultural practices, processes of identity formation, encounters with difference and people's emotional attachments to particular communities.
