RESEARCH OVERVIEW
My research interests lie in the field of geomorphology, and specifically in ice-marginal earth surface processes and landforms. This includes polar, arctic and alpine land systems. I have a special interest in high-magnitude fluvial processes, particularly glacial outburst floods ('jökulhlaups').
CURRENT PROJECTS
Hydrodynamic modelling of high-magnitude outburst floods.
Arctic and Alpine glacier runoff and floodplain dynamics.
Ice-marginal landforms and processes.
