RESEARCH OVERVIEW
Prof Jon Lloyd's research interests include isotopic fractionations during photosynthesis and respiration, the exchange of CO2, water vapour and energy between natural ecosystems and the environment, and the integration of physiology into models of mass and energy transfer between the atmosphere and the biosphere. Further interests include the photosynthetic gas exchange of plants relative to plant growth, atmospheric trace gas composition and change in relation to climate, and soil conditions and ecosystem structure, dynamics and productivity.
