Research overview

Mediterranean and European land degradation, past and present. Hydraulics and sediment dynamics of overland flow; sediment transport and turbulent flow processes; soil erosion and landforms; diffuse and acute sediment pollution; sediment control; soil/land management and water resource management. Integration of remote sensing data, variations in hydrological response and sediment supply due to anthropogenic and climatic pressure, flood frequency analysis.
