The image is a classified interpolated temperature surface created from
the source data using ArcView.

records.
Comments

The hot areas of this map correspond closely to those of minimum temperature
although there are subtle variations. The really hot areas maybe too hot
for quite a long period in the summer creating dangers of fire, salination
and wind erosion.

It may be useful to combine temperature and precipitation data to create
a surface which indicates the danger posed by summer drought.

The nature of the growing seasons effects landuse classification especially
where double and tripple cropping occurs.
