Andy is employed full-time as a Research Associate on this contract . Mark Birkin is Andy's staff manager. Andy keeps a blog that chronicles work activity.

Transport

• Andy is a Whizz Go member and can borrow SoG vehicles for work purposes.
• Andy usually travels to work by bicycle.

Sport

• Squash - Andy plays to a reasonably high standard. If you are University of Leeds staff, then there is a club that meets from 5:20pm on Wednesdays at the courts on campus.
• Andy will not play competitive contact sports. He does like to play a friendly game of football, but wears a potentially dangerous joint strapping on his knee.

Hobbies

• Playing pub and strategic board/piece games.
• Walking.
• Gardening.
• Painting.

Education

• I am undertaking a part-time PhD at the University of leeds. More...
• I have a masters degree in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and a degree in geography and mathematics from the University of Leeds. I studied physics, mathematics and geography at A level.
