- Annual Leave runs from 1st October to the 30th of September. My allocation is 25 days.

Lieu Days
- I have not kept a record of hours and days I can take to compensate for unpaid overtime or in other cases where hours are worked beyond the agreed norm, or where work is undertaken on a statutory holiday.
- School of Geography Human resources manager confirmed verbally that a 37.5 hours per week was an agreed norm for somone in my position, however I have tended to work more like an average of 48 hours, which is the limit according to DTI Regulations.
- I have regarded it as my choice on occasions to work extra hours and can't be bothered with the extra accounting involved in keeping track of this.

Carers Leave
- I assume Carers Leave is counted in the same time frame as Annual Leave, i.e. from 1st October to the 30th of September.
- There are 5 days paid leave allowed if needed.
