Present: Chris Higgins (CH), Ally Hume (AH), John Watt (JW), Keith Cole (KC), Pascal Ekin (PE), Andy Turner (AT) Apologies: Paul Townend (PT), Gail Millin (GM), Michael Koutroumpas (MK), Dave Rawnsley (DR) This meeting concentrated on preparation for the AHM next week where CH, PE, JW and PT are demonstrating SEE-GEO. CH reiterated that we have a poster and a plasma screen on the JISC stand. CH ran through a skeleton outline of the demo and emphasised its for individuals presenters to decide what they stress: - General statement of SEE-GEO (website on screen) - What OGC is (OGC website on screen) - What an OGC IE is - What GeoLinking is (something from GeoVue?) - Demo the application, talk through the parameters and arm wave at the poster (maybe put a shot of the UML diagram on screen). We could not go through this as the Leeds site has been down for a week or so - a source of considerable concern. - Demo access via Shibb and talk about security - Future work, eg, security, NGS and a slicker client KC suggested emphasising that an existing infrastructure is being grid enabled here. Another channel onto the data. AH suggested we show the GDAS being invoked directly. Action: CH to try out and let KC know if their are problems Action: CH to coordinate and meet up with PE on Monday evening to rehearse Action: AT to contact PE as this is an emergency CH asked for final comments om the poster. KC suggested a map would be good. AH suggested on the application symbol. Action: EDINA to make mods and get 4 copies laminated. One for each of MIMAS, EDINA, NCeSS and NeSC. AH asked what was happening with face to face. CH replied that we are concentrating on AHM here. Once this is over, he wil return to outstanding actions and organise a project meeting. This should be used as an opportunity to resolve any issues MIMAS also has with OGSA-DAI.
