Submissions should be in a "extended abstract" format. The deadline for submissions is 10th April 2017. Confirmation of acceptance will be by 15th May 2017.
As well as our standard sessions, we also invite expressions of interest for organizing themed sessions. If you would like to organise a session, please email: contact-us@geocomputation.org with a session title and brief abstract. Expressions of interest by 9th Dec 2016.

Accepted extended abstracts will be published in the electronic proceedings provided at least one author attends to present them. Details of special issues for full papers will be announced early in 2017. GeoComp proceedings are reviewed, but early findings and speculative work are encouraged. Allocation to themed sessions will be organised with chairs and authors. In the case that sessions are oversubscribed, talks will be allocated to alternative sessions or poster formats. If you wish to submit the extended abstract specifically for an associated poster, rather than a talk, please detail that during the submission process.
Extended abstracts should be no greater than ~1500 words, and include a short standard abstract (not included in the word count).
Please submit documents as PDFs. Please use the family names of the authors, in CamelCase, to name files. Extended abstracts should match previous GeoComp style (example; Word template; LaTeX template -- but please submit as a PDF), with titles, headings, and subheadings at 16, 16, and 14pt in a sans serif font (preferably Calibri or Helvetica), author details at 9pt and all other text at 11pt in a serif font (preferably Times New Roman). Margins should be 2.54cm, with left-right margins for the short abstract of 3.45cm. Text should be left-right justified. References should follow the Harvard style guide.
