About us
Ranked in the top six geography departments in the UK in the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise and awarded an 'Excellent' grading by HEFCE for the quality of our teaching, we disseminate cutting edge knowledge and research on topics as diverse as tropical ecology, social inclusion and city futures. We offer an excellent student experience and achieved a 88% satisfaction rating in the 2012 National Student Survey results.
